[Food Trip] B-20 Republik - General Santos City

This might be a hidden restaurant that sprouts in the sunny city of General Santos City. In fact, the restaurant is located in a not so fancy place and use mono-block tables and chairs for their furniture. I think its not about the ambiance of the place that this place should get a credit. A good indicator that they serve great food is their patron customers which are a mixture of foreigners and locals.

How's the food?

They served fusion Thai-Indian food at an affordable price! We ordered three entree that satisfies our cravings for their cuisine.

Tandoori Chicken
Their version of tandoori chicken is roast to perfection. The chicken is tender and moist that is perfect for sides yellow rice and some roasted vegetables.

Roast Pork loin
The Roast Pork loin is truly remarkable! The pork is juicy and roasted perfectly. It is crusted with rosemary herbs and topped with berry sauce. A perfect balance of flavors together with some vegetables on the side.

Pad Thai
Lastly, Pad Thai which I always love. The mixture of sweet, salty, sour and spiciness blends together well in this this dish. Chicken and shrimp starred in this awesome dish. It is one of the authentic Pad Thai taste I ever had in search of greatest Pad Thai in the Philippines.

Food price ranges from 80-350php.

Overall verdict?

Great food is served from this restaurant! Just disregard the ambiance, it is a homey Filipino atmosphere.

I'll give them 4/5 overall rating for the food!

B-20 Republik is located at Posadas Compound, Quirino Ave. General Santos City
